How a battle works
- Quick match finds 2 to 4 players near your rating; if nobody is around, bots of similar strength fill in. Or open a private room and share its 4-letter code.
- Three rounds on identical boards. The first to clear scores 3 points, then 2, 1 and 0.
- Boosters are off, and every finish is verified by replaying your moves on the server.
- Fire up Fever to send fog at the leader. It is purely visual and never makes a board unsolvable.
Rating and ranks
Where you finish in each battle moves your rating, and your rating sets your rank:

Monthly seasons
A season is one calendar month (UTC), and Season 1 is October 2026. Your season reward depends on the highest rank you reached that month, so a late losing streak never takes it away. Play at least 3 rated battles to qualify.
When a new season starts, your rating moves halfway back to 1000. Strong players start ahead, but everyone gets a ladder to climb again.
Tips to climb faster
- Warm up with a couple of Journey levels: battle boards reward the same habits.
- Do not rush the first tap. Read the queue for two seconds, then move.
- Save a combo for the end of a round and fire Fever when the leader is close.
- Watch public matches to see how top players open a board.
